This week involved maximum impact for minimal work (on my part). My Dad (aka The Ottawa Wallpaper Guy) graciously volunteered to both paint the bedroom and install our wallpaper. For the paint, we chose Farrow and Ball Wimborne White. I debated going a blue or turquoise but ultimately picked this slightly warm white because all of the inspiration images we pinned had light walls.
The wallpaper was gifted to us from Mitchell Black and it is simply gorgeous. The quality is nice and thick and the imagery (of waves shot by photographer Gray Malin) is crisp and clear.
Now if you've been following me for a while, you may have noticed that I don't do a lot of pattern. When it comes to a strong pattern, I often tire of it so it was really important that we picked a wallpaper that we loved and wasn't overly geometric.
I love how this paper looks abstract from far away from like actual waves up close. We also made some headway this week with the plywood headboards. If you're not following me on Instagram, hope on over there and click on my ORC story highlights to see video updates on the headboard (and a time-lapse video of this wallpaper install).
Since I combed through many other wallpaper options, I pulled together a roundup of some of my other favourite wallpapers for girls bedrooms.

This room is charming! And how fun that you chose a Gray Malin paper since he is doing the ORC this round, too! I had wallpaper hung this week, too. Such a lovely change!
